Déjà vu All Over Again

January 18, 2017

On January 27, 2017, Pittsburgh Power Pfab had déjà vu all over again with its third consecutive championship game appearance in the NSA Thiel College Winter Fest tournament. After going undefeated its first four games Pittsburgh Power Pfab lost a hard fought championship game to a New York based team the West Seneca Magic.

Throughout the day the coaching staff reminded the girls to play their game: SOLID DEFENCE, SMART AT BATS, STAY FOCUSED AND HAVE FUN. That is exactly what the girls did. Solid defense and pitching from Ari Reager and Madison Brown drove the team to the Championship game. Power Pfab also had some hot bats over the five games led by Madison Brown (.750 BA) and Krystyne Burdelski (.667 BA).

After being the winning pitching in the semifinal game, Madison Brown had to be called on again after Ari Reagar developed some tightness in her shoulder during the championship game. Despite having just pitched in the semifinals Madison took the ball and pitched very well as she finished the championship game.

Pittsburgh Power Pfab continues its very successful winter season on January 21, 2017 playing in the 18U ASA SOFTBALL BLIZZARD.
